Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms and Eligibility

By creating an account or using MEDHAVI, you agree to these Terms of Service and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

MEDHAVI is designed for secondary-school learners, including students who may be minors. Students are encouraged to use the platform with the knowledge and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who may contact MEDHAVI regarding a student's account at any time.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access courses you must register with your full name, email address and mobile phone number, and choose a password.

Your email address is verified through a confirmation link sent by email before full access is granted. Phone numbers are collected as contact information and are not verified by SMS.

Accounts are personal and must not be shared. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Course Enrollment and Access

MEDHAVI offers free and paid courses. Enrollment in a free course is immediate. Enrollment in a paid course is granted only after the payment has been verified by our payment processor.

Enrollment gives you access to that course's lessons, materials, discussions and scheduled live classes for as long as your enrollment remains active. Access is personal to the enrolled student and must not be shared, sold or transferred.

Some lessons may be marked as free previews and can be viewed without enrollment.

4. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use

Course videos, PDFs, lesson text, and other course materials remain the property of MEDHAVI and its instructors.

You may view and download course materials solely for your own personal learning. You may not copy, redistribute, republish, sell or share paid course content with others, or make it available on any other platform or service.

5. Fees and Payment Processing

Prices for paid courses are shown on each course page before enrollment. Any applicable discount is displayed alongside the price.

Payments are processed by Razorpay. MEDHAVI does not store your card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs or banking credentials; these are handled by Razorpay's own payment infrastructure.

Course enrollment is completed only after a payment has been verified.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. Please read it before purchasing a paid course.

These Terms do not create any refund entitlement beyond what is stated in the Refund Policy.

7. Live Classes and Interactive Sessions

Some courses include live classes conducted over Google Meet. Schedules are shown on the course page and in your dashboard in Indian Standard Time (IST).

Joining links are private and are made available to actively enrolled students shortly before each session begins. You must not share joining links with anyone who is not enrolled.

Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled by the teaching team; enrolled students are notified of changes. Where a session is recorded and the recording is made available, it is accessible only to actively enrolled students of that course.

8. Discussions and Community Conduct

Each course has a discussion area with public discussions and private queries. Public discussions are visible to authorized participants of that course. Private queries are visible only to their author and authorized teaching staff.

Be respectful and stay on topic. Content that is harmful, abusive, misleading or off-topic may be removed by moderators. Repeated or serious misuse may lead to restrictions on your account.

Do not post personal contact details, other people's private information, or content you do not have the right to share.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

MEDHAVI may suspend or restrict an account where these terms are breached, where an account is misused, or where required for the security of the platform or its users.

You may stop using the platform at any time. There is currently no self-service account deletion feature; you may request account closure or deletion of your personal information by contacting us as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Educational Disclaimers and Service Availability

MEDHAVI provides supplementary educational content for personal learning. It is not a substitute for school instruction, and we do not guarantee any particular examination result, grade or academic outcome.

We work to keep the platform available and its content accurate, but the service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and content may be corrected, updated or withdrawn over time.

11. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on the platform, and the current version will remain available on this page.

Continued use of the platform after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law and Contact Details

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction-specific wording is reserved for legal review.

For questions about these terms, please visit our Contact page or email medhavi.support@gmail.com.
